Chuys began as a small, passionate kitchen in the heart of Fort Worth, Texas. Founded with the belief that great food brings people together, our doors first opened in 1982 with a simple menu and an enormous heart — welcoming everyone who walked through them like family.
The name Chuys became synonymous with bold, authentic chuy's-style flavors crafted from family recipes passed down through generations. Every dish tells a story; every bite is a celebration of culture, community, and craft.
Over four decades, we've grown from a neighborhood gem to a beloved destination — but our soul remains the same. We still hand-make our salsas fresh daily, source local ingredients wherever possible, and greet every guest with a genuine smile.
